The tower is decorated with stucco of legendary creatures. The carved patterns of the stones look magical. Relaxing pattern art in Cambodia and India

History of Prang Sam Yod
Phra Prang Sam Yot built when Lop Buri is under the control of the Khmer kingdom from Angkor Wat. The trend monument was founded in the late 12th century, early 13th during the reign of Jayavarman VII, the King who built the city. Thom is the capital of the Cambodian kingdom.

Phra Prang Sam Yot may have been built as a Buddhist sanctuary, while Jayavarman VII is a Mahayana sect of Buddhism, contrary to his Hindu ancestors. At one point, the three-prang pagoda was converted into a Hindu shrine, with many languages representing the image of Shiva in Hinduism being discovered in the pagoda.

During the reign of King Narai, the King of Ayutthaya in the second half of the 17th century, Phra Prang Sam Yod was converted into a Buddhist monument and the Assembly Hall was recorded in the complex. At the back of the temple sitting on a pedestal is a Ayutthaya style stone Buddha statue in a meditation position. The front of the picture remains a little in position. “Call the world to testify”

The guest pagoda a
few hundred meters southwest of Prang Sam Yot is another Khmer era monument. “Indian Prang” built by Prang Kae as a Hindu shrine, consisting of three small brick pagoda. Unlike the Phra Sam Yot pagoda, which is not connected by a path Prang Kao is the oldest Khmer monument in Lop Buri. It was probably built in the 10th century. A brick temple next to the pagoda was built during the reign of King Narai the Great in the 17th century
. In 1951, a new shrine was built, which houses the statue of the Vishnu of the Hindu god with four arms. The header of the highly respected image is missing. Later it was installed with the head of the Ayutthaya style Buddha. The Kan Kan Shrine is known for a group of monkeys that hang out there.
